About READI

Elissa Russell, the CEO and founder of READI, an Atlanta-based EdTech company, is a proven leader in workforce development and literacy training, bringing significant transformation to underperforming academic programs. Elissa’s track record includes restructuring programs, enhancing curriculum, promoting professional development and training, and implementing tech-based learning tools both within her startup and for local non-profits and higher Ed. Programs.

I launched READI because I know firsthand the benefits of reskilling, given the access to the tools and training, all of us are capable of escaping our ‘now’ and creating a ‘new norm’ for ourselves and our families.

I am passionate about closing the skills gap for those that are unemployed and underemployed; READI works to move you beyond barely making it to building a better future.

At READI, that impact is powered by XR/VR/AI solutions.

Virtual simulations

Virtual reality is an immersive experience, usually using a headset, that inserts you into a virtual world. Virtual reality may consist of 360 degree video or 3D modeling to let you see through the perspective of a character just as they see or experience. Virtual reality (or VR) is most commonly used for gaming or educational training purposes. Click below to see some examples of educational virtual reality simulations.
